Had a great evening with the guys from Code Blue Coma, El Camino Car Crash and Fracture Inc. - three awesome bands I’m really keen to hear more from! Unfortunately these were my only acquisitions for today - okey, I could’ve bought a t-shirt (what I probably should’ve done), but actually I got more than enough t-shirts ;-) I’m really looking forward to get the vinyl of the new ECCC Record in the next few days - you can still pre-order it over here, if you haven’t done yet!
Fracture Inc. were the big surprise this evening, I didn’t knew them in first place (actually I only went there for ECCC), but damn, they really ripped it! It is really incomprehensible to me how they can be so unknown/underrated, I mean, you can’t tell me that this isn’t pure fucking awesomeness: http://www.fracture-inc.de/index.html/Fracture-Inc._Official_Homepage/Media.html Looking forward to a physical copy of that!
Code Blue Coma were pretty good as well! Since some weeks people/facebook bug/s me with their stuff… “Hey, listen to this new band - they’re fuckin hip, yo!” And somehow I never really did until yesterday. And I had to admit that they are not that bad. But seeing them live today… damn, they were not only not that bad, they were fucking good! I’m sure that you can still get a copy of the tape if you ask them - so do yourself a favor and check them out! (they’ll probably bring this thing on vinyl as well, what would be really cool)
Last but not least, El Camino Car Crash - at first I have to say, that these are really nice and taking dudes (btw. actually everyone at the show was really nice and taking, I kinda felt like in my familie/among friends… and that’s how hardcore should be, man!), I hope to see them again at some time! I was into their demo from the first minute, but somehow that wasn’t the same with their new record. I was more like “uuh, they really much changed style… this is pretty experimental… kinda chaotic” but after the 2nd, or 3rd try I began to like it… probably it’s just more sophisticated! ;-) However, seeing them live and feeling their music totally changed it for me - I can’t await it, to finally hold their record in my hands and put it on the turntable!
Btw. I also had the opportunity to sell some of my zines at the show, more than half is already gone, if you still want one and haven’t ordered yet, better do it now or regret forever! http://boundxbyxmodernxage.bigcartel.com/
